Vo Chi Cong (7/8/1912 - 8/9/2011) who was born in Quang Nam province was a revolutionary, a famous politician of Vietnam. He held many important positions in the Communist Party and State of Vietnam, he has served as Chairman of the State of Vietnam Council (1987-1992). He was awarded Golden Star Medal, 70 years of Party Award and other noble medals by the Party and State of Vietnam to acknowledge the great contributions to the cause of the revolution.

To honor for the great Vietnamese heroic mother, Vietnamese heroic mother’s monument are built in a total area of 15 hectares on Cam Mountain, Thach Phu village, Tam Phu, Tam Ky City, Quang Nam, with original image of Vietnamese heroic mother’s Nguyen Thi Thu.

Vietnam - Laos on the Indochinese peninsula, for over a century under the domination of the colonial empire, the two nations has been attached, united in the struggle against the common enemy . on the 5th of September 1962, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the Kingdom of Laos officially established diplomatic relations.

For the last 50 years, the relationship of traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam - Laos which was nurtured by the generations of leaders and people of two countries, has been increasingly consolidated, developed into depth on all fields.
