Nguyen Huy Tuong (06/5/1912 – 25/7/1960) is a revolutionary, famous writer & playwright in Vietnam. He has joined the revolution since he wasvery young and has held many important responsibilities of culture in the revolutionary government. During his revolutionary activities, he has composed a lot of famous historical novels and plays, such as: Vu Nhu To, Long Tri festival night, Bac Son, Forever living with the Capital, ... In 1996, , he was posthumously awarded the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Art forhis meritsto the country's literature.
